Who specifically did you buy the gun from and why didn't you ask for a replacement if the original was defective?
What specifically is it doing?

i bought it from airsoft GI and the original i got is deffective which i currently have and am sending back this weekend. why i claim it to be deffective is because when i plugged in a fully charged battery i could feel the wires heating up which i'm still not sure should happen but it did tell me that power was flowing and so when i did a test fire of the gun it didn't fire as if there was no power at all and i originally thought i screwed up the first battery but i got a new one and charged that one with a smart charger neither times the gun worked
What model rifle is this?
Is there an in-line fuse?

1. Read site rule #18. Reading your post is painful.why i claim it to be deffective is because when i plugged in a fully charged battery i could feel the wires heating up
2. The first answer is that your motor is jammed or possibly fried. Thus, do you hear any clicking in the grip or in the mechbox? That would suggest the gears are jammed or the motor is wedged in the grip improperly and is basically jammed. That would explain the wires getting hot. If there is no clicking but the wiring is getting hot, you are correct in that power is flowing through the circuit but something like the motor is fried.....

Yeah, sorry about that. Thanks for the advice but from what I remember the only noise I hear is my trigger being pulled.
One of the guys at TXPB yesterday started having the same problem about two hours in. I told him everything that's already been posted, but also to check anywhere the wires connect for bad connections. This is easy with a voltmeter, but you can eyeball it too.
