I would suggest reading the event AARs to make one's opinion before investing the time and money to go.

This year there has been a Management change, the new head of MSE is looking to make the game better, not like it has been the last couple of years. One person fouled the taste in the mouths of many from TX and it will be a slow to change the minds that were already made up, but in the end this change was for the better and I think he has the best interests of the players in mind not just out to make a name for one person or to pad his pockets with the money that was made from this event.

This event is cancelled. Sad day for MilSim players. First they killed NS, then they killed themselves.

Where did you get this information? I'm not seeing it anywhere on MSE.com.

Shak, I'll email you seperately with what I know, I don't want to spread any rumors that I can't confirm.

There is an event at D-Day on Memorial Day, being held by American Milsim... Looks like Frosty and JP are the leaders of this new organization:

I know the details. Talked to PITT this morning.

    In short:

MSE and Invasion are indeed cancelled.
However, the guys who basically started the airsoft community in OK (PITT and Croaker) are now involved with one of the owners of MSE (Frosty) with a new company called American MilSim (JP also). They will be holding their first event on the same weekend at the same location to replace Invasion.
The bad apples involved with MSE have been tossed out and due to litigation involved, further details cannot be revealed at this time. In time, though.

PITT and Croaker are good to go, just FYI. Both are longtime members of this site in fact. PITT used to live in TX, and we spent a lot of great field time with him and Croaker. Both are/were members of FOG.

Our team had been suspecting this will happen since that issue with their "Bushman".

Mojoe, you still up for that American Milsim Op? We are still going. Hope to see you there.
