Rules Of Engagement:
1.All operators are expected to show good conduct on the field.
2. CHEATING WILL NOT BE TOLERATED
3. All Airsoft Electric Rifles, must chrono at 400 fps or less using a 0.20g BB . All Squad Support Weapons (L85 LSW, SAW, M60, 240, RPD, RPK, belt fed) must chrono at at 450 fps or less using a 0.20g BB. All Sniper Rifles must chrono at 500 fps or less using a .20g BB. ANY READINGS HIGHER THAN THESE WILL IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFY THE GUN. YOU MUST CHRONO WITH OUR .20 BBs NO EXCEPTIONS.
4. All operators must use approved BBs, no biodegradable
5. All operators must use hard lens type goggle or glasses that have a tight seal around the face
6. All hits to the operator's body count as a kill, including gear
7. Gun hits do not count
8. Red Dead Rags are required, some will be sold onsite for .50 cents
9. Dead men do not talk to live operators

Detailed Rules:
Hits
1. Hits to any part of your body count as a kill.
2. Hits to any part of your tactical gear or equipment, such as ammo bags, canteen, and pouches, etc. also count as a kill.
3. Ricochets do not count
4. Hits to the gun do not count as a kill.
Getting Hit
When you are hit, by all means act it out. Scream, yell, cry for Mama or die with your gun blazoning in the air. It all adds to the realism of the re-enactment. Also, if you feel that an operator has made a good shot, by all means compliment him on his marksmanship. When an operator is hit and after acting out his death, should he choose to do so, that operator will raise his hand and or gun over his head and yell "HIT, HIT, HIT" as loudly as possible. It is important to yell "Hit" loud enough so that the enemy can hear you. If you don't, enemy operators may continue to shoot at you. Red rag place it on top of your head. This makes it easier for enemies to identify you as a dead man.

Riflemen Velocities: During outdoor events, the Outdoor Velocity rule is to be observed at all times. Unless otherwise specified, regular AEGs are restricted to 400fps or 1.48J spring level. A surrender should be presented for any engagements under the 20 feet rule. AEGs are NOT to be used when 20 feet or closer to another player. If there is a risk of a player not taking the surrender in tight situations, use your approved sidearm. If your field and/or event is using the Specialty Velocity Rules below, be sure to adhere to the additional safety rules that go along with those velocities.

Support Weapon Velocities: During outdoor events, this type of specialty velocity can be used. It however has its' own set of operational guidelines that must be followed. This specialty velocity of 450fps or 1.87J may be only be used at distances over 40feet. No support weapon will be permitted above this hard limit. If a player is within 40 feet, you may not use this gun/velocity. A secondary gun that meets the Standard Outdoor Velocity must be carried as well for any engagements under the 40 feet rule. Support Weapons are defined as those weapons specifically purpose-designed to be used in a support role featuring belt-feed with QD barrel. Illustrative examples would be accurate replicas of the M249 & variants, M60 & variants, M240, MG42, MG34, Shrike, HK21/23, PKM, Negev, and others with the required features. Despite missing these features, the RPK will be grandfathered in with no other exceptions due to TASO history. A regular AEG assault rifle with a box mag shooting over 400fps spring level does not constitute a support weapon!

Sniper Weapon/DMR Velocities: During outdoor events, this type of specialty velocity can be used. It however has it's own set of operational guidelines that must be followed. This specialty velocity of 500fps or 2.8J may be only be used at distances over 100feet. No sniper weapon replica will be permitted above this hard limit. If a player is within 100 feet, you may not use this gun/velocity. A secondary gun that meets the Standard Outdoor Velocity must be carried as well for any engagements under the 100 feet rule. Sniper Weapons are defined as bolt action or semi-automatic only. Any weapon with the ability to be switched full auto does not constitute a sniper weapon!

Pistol Velocities: Semi-auto gas, electric, or spring pistols are restricted to 350fps or 1.13J. This is a hard limit. This muzzle energy guideline applies to indoor and outdoor skirmishing when the pistol is used with the intent of a secondary/backup weapon. This applies to engagements inside the minimum engagement distance of AEG, support weapon, and sniper rifle categories. In all instances, these replicas should be aimed centermass or lower. In cases where a high-power pistol is used, it must follow the AEG, support weapon, or sniper rifle category based on its' muzzle energy output. No engagement with 15 feet.

.20, no bio.

You can use heavier, but you must chrono with .20s that we supply at our chrono station.

Bio BBs along the Gulf Coast have not held up well and have caused alot of damage to guns. If they work for you, fine, but there is no requirement for the field.

This should be a blast!
If you have nothing to do that weekend and have an airsoft rifle, then there is no reason you should not be signed up already.
See you guys out there.
