Description: Working closely with Special Forces Wiley-X focused on a modular goggle for the new millennium soldier. The new CQC goggle provides all around function, for all operations conducted. It's streamlined design cuts through the wind and fits the face closely and tightly. Whether you need protection for urbane warfare, land warfare, sun, dust, wind or snow, this goggle has it all. The CQC goggle comes equipped with 2 sets (smoke green / clear) of ballistic polycarbonate. Each lens is 2.5mm thick and clear coated with our proprietary anti-fog and silicone, scratch resistant coating.

The new CQC goggle is also modular. It converts from a ballistic goggle into a set of fully functional eyewear with just a push of a button. Now when a soldier is in his or her down time they can attach the temples and wear the product as a sunglass providing 100% Ultra Violet protection.

For added protection, the CQC goggle has protective side shields that can be attached in either sunglass or goggle form. This gives the user extra peripheral and temporal protection not offered in any other goggle design.

The CQC goggle comes with two sets of ballistic, anti-fog lenses (smoke green, clear), temples, elastic strap, and soft case for storage.

Pros: Sleek look, Very Elite, Very Durable, Excellent Foam Material and Design, Quick change of Lenses
Cons: Feel very cheap, although they aren\'t.

Personal Experience

I have both the CQC and the SG-1 (see my review of the Wiley-X SG-1), and I swear by both of them.

In the Texas heat and humidity, you need something that will keep from fogging up. These goggles are the only pair I\'ve ever used that do the trick. I have not had to put on any type of \"anti-fog\" spray and I\'ve yet to have serious issue. I\'ve experienced water buildup from sweat pouring into my eyes, more then any fogging.

There is NOTHING that obstructs your vision and they are extremely form fitting to your face. With the goggle on, they sit closer than a pair of sunglasses.

They have an extremely easy change-out system, for when you want to switch from clear to smoke lenses. (Wiley-X also makes blue and red lenses, for different situations that I have yet to use. They also make the lenses in prescription, so toss those inserts.)

Further, these goggles just look damn cool! There is no getting around it. The dark-smoke lens does nothing to dampen your view in most situations, so leave \'em on - because you won\'t look cooler with any other goggle.

Everyone that has tried my CQCs on have been sold on them and typically want to upgrade to the CQC.

I suggest EBAY, because the retail price on these babies is something like $90-110 (which isn\'t terrible, but when you can get them for a fraction of that, then you should).

One of the only drawbacks to this goggle is the cheap feel that they have. When you remove the lens, the plastic frame is quite flimsy. This is purposeful, as it prevents the goggle from breaking. You can bend the thing back in on itself and it won\'t snap. But, it just \"feels\" cheap.

I would suggest these, but I would doubly suggest the SG-1. If you have a high tolerance to risk - then the SG-1 are the better bet. It covers less surface area on your face, but are more comfortable and even more fog resistant. If you want more coverage - go with these goggles. You won\'t go wrong with either purchase.

Pros: Compact, light weight, low profile, good foam material, good looking
Cons: Horrible fog

The reason I bought these goggles was because it was not as big as other goggles and Wiley-X claims that they have an \"anti-fog\" coating.

When I first got the goggles, I was not too surprise to see that it did not fog when I blew a few breaths on them since they were suppose to be \"anti-fog\" treated. I took them out for a skirmish and everything was working out okay, for about the first 20 mins. After that, fog slowly started building up to a point where everything was just too blurry to see.

I did not give up these goggles yet since I was aware of some anti-fog treatments out there. First I tried the soap and water technique. Worked for about ten minutes and then they fogged up. Tried Fog Tech, same thing. And lastly, I tried Cat Crap. No matter what I tried, these googles just ended fogging up way too bad for gameplay, even with a sweat band.

I\'m not a sweaty guy. I\'m in good shape and it takes a while for me to heat up during a skirmish. These googles look really nice, but I wouldn\'t recommend them unless you are able to find a way to keep them from fogging up.

If anyone wants more info on these goggles, there are some really good posts on the Airsoft Retreat Forums: http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums...ms=cqc,wiley-x
