This utility vest is manufactured for special units of the MVD, and designed to hold up to 2 (or more) AK-74 magazines (or M16, or up to 38 cartridges or shotgun shells carried in elastic loops, or boxes of ammunition for rifles, pistols, or shotguns. It is also equipped with an integral holster designed to carry the Makarov pistol, and has compartments for the PM magazines. There are also multiple pockets for grenades, flashlight, fuses, radio gear, handcuffs, documents, etc. A large pocket on the rear shoulder will carry a large amount of items, or several magazines. Kidney pockets on the rear panel will also accommodate more storage to meet mission requirements. In all, this vest will allow a large load to be carried by the end user in comfort for an extended amount of time. This vest is adjustable in size 45-65, through the use of a heavy duty adjustable belt and side panel strap extensions.
