I have been using this gun for a few months now and I am really happy with its overall performance. There are some negatives with the gun I have found but they are minor and I remember them more than the good stuff as with any product.
This is my first M4 style airsoft gun so I don’t have other to compare it to. I’ll compare it to the M4 that I had in the army, as far as feel goes.
The bad:
• Front sight will not adjust below flush with the front sight post.
• Selector switch feels flimsy (moves too easy).
• Magazines sometimes fall out of the gun.
• Extremely noisy.
The good:
• BB’s feed well most of the time. I have used G&G and ICS magazines in this gun. I plan to use Star 30 round magazines soon.
• Comes with a front sight adjusting tool, cleaning/un-jamming rod, and a good manual with an exploded view of the gun.
• Forward assist releases spring tension.
Modifications:
I had to remove plastic railings from the inside of the stock to get the 8.4V 3000 Mah battery to fit with the inline fuse. Upgraded the spring (m120) and bushings via Airsoftworx.
Problems:
I only have had 2 problems in the field with this gun. The fist was at an OP when the motor kept backing out. Using lock tight on the fine adjustment screw resolved that issue. The second was at a local skirmish and the gun just stopped firing. It seemed as if the fuse was blown because the gun would do nothing. I took it apart and put it back together and it started working fine. I think there was a BB jammed somewhere because it fired one after I putted it back together when I tested it with no magazine.
The hop-up is consistent and does not need to be adjusted very often; I use .25’s with this gun.
The finish craftsmanship on this gun is real nice, I would recommend it if you want a full metal gun.
