I have a similar product.....the 3-pouch version of this one that holds 6 AK mags (or 9 M4 mags). This is a fairly nice product given the lack of decent AK mag pouches on the market. The ability to use it for M4 mags is nice too.
However, these use very stiff material and stick out quite a bit. It would be nice if they cinched down after mags are extracted to be lower-profile and out of the way. Furthermore, because of the side flaps being too stiff which are designed to help hold AK mags in place, the main flap is somewhat hard to open quickly and efficiently with one hand to get a mag out in a hurry.
The pouch secures nicely using MOLLE system and doesn\'t move. It also appears to be well-made and will hold up for a long time.
Until other options arrive on the market, these are likely the best solution for securing AK mags.
