Pros: Classic good looks, good range and accuracy, solid, and has a nice weight to it
Cons: Hard to add accesories without spoiling the look, long and awkward in close quarters.

I\'ve been using the VN as my primary AEG for almost a year now (replacing my AUG) and have been very pleased with it.

First off it has \"classic\" good looks that set it apart from the horde of M4 and Mp5s you usually see at skirmishes. This is an ego thing, but is important to me. On the down side of this, it\'s kind of hard to add much in the way of accessories to this gun without spoiling the looks. My own gun has a carry handle mounted rail with a red dot and nothing else.

The long inner barrel on the M16vn gives it very good range and accuracy. Even stock, it can reach out and touch someone. Upgraded to 400 fps it can compete with the range of any gun out there with the exception of the 500 fps sniper rifles.

Sadly the long barrel causes the biggest gripe I have with the \'vn. The failry long length of the gun makes it awkward to use behind cover or indoors.

The \'vn has a decent weight that helps to dispell the \"toy\" feel. In fact it\'s not too far off from from the weight of a real steel Ar15. However the weight is not enough to make it tiring to cary all day.

It comes packaged with a 190 round high-cap that simulates a 20 round M16 magazine but will accept any of the M16/M4 magazines on the market.

It may be just my gun, but I have found that it can be a bit picky as to what BBs it feeds. Every time i have used Cybergun brand BBs they have jammed this weapon. However this may be more of a problem with that low cost BB brand than the M16vn.

Much has been said about marui\'s M16 type guns experiencing \"barrel wobble\". I have also heard that the \'vn experiences this to lesser degree than other designs. I\'m not sure if this is true, but in almost a year of use I have not experienced this problem.

All in all, the \'vn is a solid gun that I would not hesitate to recomend to any player who wants a gun that will not get lost in the crowd.
