This product is a fairly inexpensive upgrade to your AK-series AEG. It is worth the money, as AK bodies are sturdy and don\'t suffer from thin wall sections like the M4/M16 bodies; thus, they will not break on you. Couple that with being much less expensive, and you can\'t go wrong with this cosmetic upgrade.
The CA body comes in a nice black color that is preferable to some when compared to the gray color of the DTP metal AK body. In addition, the holes seem to line up better on the CA better than the DTP body. The DTP body often requires you to grind away from of the selector switch hole as it is centered too low.
One point to note is that the STAR hi-cap mags seem to fit VERY tightly into the body, almost of the point of not being able to be inserted. This is due to the plastic at the top of the mag. Those mags fit easily into the TM stock and DTP metal bodies, respectively.
This metal body is easy to install and will add a bit of weight to your gun.
Overall, this is a good buy.
