A nice product that is more cosmetic than useful, this RIS for the AK47 is a nice-looking addition. It has a nice finish to it and has proven durable for me.
One complaint is that railguards aren\'t included so the sharp edges of the rails wear at your gloves. Easily fixable by adding railguards.
The other minor complaint is that it doesn\'t fit as snugly as I\'d like it to in the AK47. There is some slight back and forth movement.
The only time I\'ve mounted anything onto it was for a night skirmish. I mounted a GenIII NVD to a scope mount of my AK47 and then put a vertical grip on this RIS so I could more comfortably hold the gun up and observe opposing players through the NVD. The RIS served its\' purpose and was sturdy enough for that task.
While this product is more cosmetic than functional merely due to weapon layout, it is well-made.
