Description:
The TM VSR-10 series are such a great value; the prices range from the low to mid $200's in U.S. based retailers. Anyway, the VSR-10 G-Spec is different from the others because it comes with an aluminum silencer (yes, it's functional), sling mounts and a rail mount for a scope or red dot. The fit and finish is excellent on the metal parts, and the only external plastic parts consist of the trigger guard and black, textured stock, which can be a turn some away, due to the seams being visible from a about a foot, and scratches are also easily visible, not to mention the light weight (which can be a plus for those not wanting to carry a CA, Maruzen, etc.). However, the adjustable hop-up is superb, and the adjustable trigger is also a nice touch. The bolt contours nicely to the palm, and cocks easily with almost no effort. Stock form sends .25 gram BB's about 100 or so feet at about 250-270 fps. The silencer has a small affect on accuracy, but it changes the unsilenced metallic "thup" to a dull and very quiet "thump", which is very difficult to hear in normal airsoft confilcts. Overall value, TM performance, and reliablity make this an excellent choice for a beginner or experienced player.

Pros:
Tokyo Marui Quality, Price, and Performance, Very Lightweight, Lots of Metal Parts
Cons:
Very Lightweight, Expensive to upgrade
As I said in the description, TM does an excellent job producing a futuristic M700 style gun. It's accurate, decently powerful, and dead quiet. This is an excellent platform for upgrades, although to get one shooting at about 450 fps accurately, and without breaking the trigger and internal parts, will cost about $450. But, in stock form, it is an excellent back-up gun, or just a plinker. All in all TM created another successful, pratical AEG alternative.
