Cons:

Gets pretty \"hot\" in the summer heat
|
|
Extremely high quality vest. It is very adjustable and has loads of room for magazines. Each pouch is elastic and conforms to the load in it. I can fit 3 M16 magazines in each pouch, making that a 12 magazine loadout possibility.
Up in Lubbock there is barbed wire and I took a good fall one time on the wire with this vest. I stood up and the vest still looks the same as the day I got it. The 1000 Denier Cordura really is something.
The vest has some limitations though. During the summer it is a \"hot\" rig. Though it does distribute weight very well, making it ideal for longer games. The shoulder pads though, even though padded, are narrow and do start to put concentrated pressure on your shoulders, making them ache after 6 hours.
The vest has MOLLE webbing all around it, making it useful for attaching Hydration carriers and what not.
The veclro ensures that magazines will never fall out of the pouch. There are also fastex buckles that further keep it down. You can also put velcro on the pouch lids and just use the buckles for \"silent\" operation.
