Description: Full metal slide and outer barrel with silencer gives this CO2 powered S&W Sigma SW40F a realistic and hefty feel. Lower receiver constructed from rugged ABS plastic. Metal slide ensures durability and nice sounding slide cycles. Long magazine stores a CO2 powerlet that punches out 0.2g 6mm BBs at over 450fps right out of the box! Stylish detacheable metal rail mount is also included so you can attach scopes, lasers and flash-light. Metal parts include: slide, outer barrel, trigger, hammer, magazine, slide stop, magazine catch, silencer and scope mount. High CO2 pressurization means that the blowback is very strong.

Pros: Very solid pistol
Cons: none

This has to be the ultimate sideearm. With a 39 round clip and screw-in co2 cartridges you can\'t go wrong with this gun. Shoots 400 fps right out of the box. I also have the regular S&W 40f with a 25 round clip, once again another solid shooter. With a full metal body you\'ll want to be using this as your gun.

Pros: Very powerful, great blowback! Co2 easy to buy.
Cons: Long magazine, too powerful?

Ok.... I had a great time at our last airsoft OP. (Hosted by TAC 1 Airsoft)

I thought I\'d give everyone a quick review of my new KWC S&W Sigma.
It feels really good in my hand... it has a metal (aluminum) slide and barrel, and the mag really adds some weight. The mag does stick out some from the grip (like the extended mags you can get for some GBBs) because that\'s where the Co2 cartridge goes. The Co2 lasts about 80 rnds on average depending on your rate of fire. The mag holds 39 rnds, so you can reload twice with a single cartridge. It also depends on the outside tempeture... it was approximately 40* f during our night games, and around 45* f or so for the day games. I suspect that in warmer weather 65* + you could get better effieciency. (Paintball experience)
The pistol has great blowback, the strongest I\'ve had opportunity to test (a M93r and a full metal KJW M92). I actually have two Sigmas... one with the extended barrel and silencer and one without. There was a definate velocity difference with the extended barrel... approx. 30-40 fps difference over the standered barrel. hmm... If I recall right, the extended barrel shoots at about 450 fps with .20, and the regular barrel at about 415 fps. I\'ll check that this weekend when I go home to be sure. I was using .28 and .25 for the games... for accuracy. It shoots straight and hard... and I really like the white dot sights, easy to place. Didn\'t have any problems during the night games, towards the end of the day games (second half of the OP) the gun had problems cycling after several rnds... I suspect due to the cold wet weather... (Co2 gas rapidly cools when fired in quick succesion in cold weather) I will update this post when I have the chance to play in warmer weather. Also I let one of my friends use one of my guns and during play a piece came out of the gun (from inside of the grip - looks like part of the trigger/hammer)... haven\'t had a chance yet to break it down to fix. That was dissapointing... but I really enjoyed playing with it, you can go up against the regular AEGs as long as you have a halfway decent cover man. We played one game on semi-auto only... in that situation the pistol is a blast to play with because of your mobility... you can run, jump, and crawl... and your point and shoot ability is accerlerated with a pistol... especially in the woods. Anyways, I had a great time with it, even though one of them broke - hopefully I can get that repaired without to much problem. I went pistol only in several different games (normally I use my AUG - reviewed elsewhere). I\'ll update after our next OP, towards the end of March. Hopefully we\'ll have some warmer weather...
