The PK-AS-V red/black sight was specifically designed as the 'next generation' optical system to be used on a wide variety of small arms used by the Russian military and law enforcement agencies. The PK-AS-V sight can be mounted on almost any rifle or submachine gun equipped with a side mounting rail. The revolutionary design of this 'black dot/red dot' sight is state of the art and, as far as we know, no other sight in the world offers the same unique set of features.
The most unique and interesting feature of the PK-AS-V sight is that it remains usable even when its batteries run out. Unlike the case with other red dot sights, when PK-AS-V sight runs out of batteries or when the power is turned off, the 'red dot' does not simply disappear, instead it becomes a 'black dot' which keeps the sight functional even without batteries.
The ultra sharp 1/1.5 Mil black/red dot allows for very precise aiming.
The most current modification of the PK-AS-V sight (currently in stock) has the adjustable red dot brightness level, which makes the PK-AS-V sight even more versatile.
This particular model of PK-AS sight with the V-clamp mount places the PK-AS-V sight virtually right over the bore centerline.
