I purchased my SOE vest second hand from a former teammate and was very pleased with my purchase.
Its distributes my load so well that sometimes I couldnt feel the load at all. Once the straps are adjusted right they wont budge a bit. I taped mine down just out of habit but it was unneccesary. The fastex buckles on the back allow the quick attachment of the SOE buttpack and SOE hydration pouch.
The only negative things I can see about this vest is the fact that it doesnt have alot of room to add additional pouches to it and the price is a little high if you buy it new.
