With the Help of the Marines located at Camp Lejuene, HSGI developed this pad with comfort in mind . With extra padding on back , shoulders , and waist , all in one unit . As well with 2 compartments that could accommodate 2 - 100 oz. hydration systems , or storage for soft gear , or even IV kits .
A venting system which allows passage for a lowering line for jump capability and webbing loops on shoulder straps for securing hydration tubes or extra gear. Made of 3/8 inch closed cell foam , 1000 denier Cordura , #10 vislon solid tooth plastic zippers , 1 inch Cordura webbing , and a replacement strap for the kidney pad ( this strap will replace the old cam type or side release buckle can hardly ever be tighten to full potential ) .
