Good picture, and nice weapon. Why the battery pack though? You have a RIS system, why not have one of those fake laser units?

I'd say he doesn't want any more weight up front. Plus, some people don't like the look of those laser units

Thanks for the comment on the vest.Its an SOE CQB Vest.
As far as why I have the battery pack...it was originally an SR-16 so it was already wired to the rear.I just didnt like the feel of a solid stock so I replaced it with a collapsible stock and added the pouch.I dont like the PEQ2s that have been produced lately and it wouldve been a pain in the butt to re-wire it just for something I dont like.Not to mention that with the full metal M203 there was already too much weight in the front to begin with!
