Village F.O.G. Sneaky Gun Registered: May 2006 Location: Austin, TX Posts: 567	Visable on the back of the piston head are small shavings of aluminum from its face and edges. The blue circle shows the damage to the starting threads on the piston screw. Fortunately, my wire strippers have a threaded bolt cutter that provides hardened 6-32 threads which I used to rethread the damaged end. The nicks on the edges of the piston head were fortunately directed towards the piston body, in a way that the damage will not inflict marks on the o-ring. The o-ring was preserved.
