Just a head's up. . . a non-RIS grenade launcher will not readily cooperate with a RIS setup. I had to take a Dremel to the RIS unit to pare down the rear screw holes somewhat in order to accomodate the M203 barrel mount. Fortunately there was enough space left for the front screws to ensure that the RIS will stay firmly in place instead of freely rotating around the forward grip.

Also, the front sights need to be installed simultaneously with the M203 in order to fit properly.

Because of the RIS and the retractable stock, the only place left for the battery is a PEQ unit (on order at the time of this writing). The stock fuse plate is still intact, but I removed it for the purposes of the photo (the wiring is on the other side of the foregrip).

Be forewarned. . . this setup is VERY front heavy. As much as I'd like to keep it set up this way, I wouldn't be surprised to see the receiver and/or the inner barrel complaining about the extra stress fairly soon.

Nicely done, but kill the silencer.

Reasoning other than aesthetics? Just trying to see if we're on the same line of thought. . .
