I didn't assemble it. UNCompany did all of that for the previous owner.
There should be some handy owner's manuals for the FAMAS lying around. Check the downloads section.

I think it looks amazing. I still don't know what the FPS is on the factory model. Does anyone here know?

It'd be the same FPS as a stock FAMAS. . . which is around 250-260FPS.
