The "Photo" is fine, the subject matter is disturbing.

Yes the scope is a bit awkward. It works, and it's staying there till I get my BSA 30mm red-dot.

Was the gun transparent? It looks as if it got painted black, or it's really dusty.

It's supposed to look like that. It's a Toystar M4, and no it wasn't transparent. If you visit the classifieds section of classicairsoft.net there is an M16A1 carbine for sale that has an AWESOME finish that I was trying to replicate. I'll give a link to it later maybe.
Also, that is just a top layer, so the gun can be "Scratched" and reveal metallic colors underneath as painted metal would.

Now has Marui M4 AEG parts on it, entire stock assembly is off of a Marui M4 as well as other parts.
