Due to the fact that this skirmish will be the week before Operation: Reindeer Games 2, it has been proposed that we use Hunters for the weekend of 11/30/03. Benefits of this would be better practice for unit movement in open terrain, amongst other things. Also, if there is going to be a larger turnout for this skirmish, Hunters would be a better choice as we would not have to deal with paintballers, smaller fields, etc.

This is simply a proposal. If interest in this option is negligible, then we will stick with the normal schedule. Please voice your opinions on this issue.

I concur that we would benefit from the reduced entanglements of field scheduling etc. I also believe those of us from San Antonio who had planned to participate in Austin this weekend would appreciate the shorter drive :)

FOG should be there in force. I have missed many weeks now with my gun being down and for personal reasons, but I need to be out there this week.

I think we should have about 6 FOGs out this week.

As for the location, I would support a move to Hunters. i would think it would be up to the people who have been playing regularly to decide, though, and i think t would have to be a significant amount of people since the rotation was agreed upon awhile back.

I agree. We need some room to move for OP practice.

I'd like to switch it to Hunters. I have missed the past 2 times at hunters, and am longing for the openess :)

As for the rotation thing, why don't we all agree that the weekend before OPs will always be at Hunters?

Switched it on the calender due to popular demand.

Obs,

Is there anyway we can have a consistent schedule for Hunters Airsoft? Maybe Hunters every other week? We'd like to coordinate the San Antonio games on the weeks you guys play on Texas Paintball so we can be free to play in Hunters for those of us that can make it up.

This is just a suggestion. I understand there could be some constraints on your end but if at all possible, it would be greatly appreciated!

Athena - this weekend might be a prime opportunity to discuss scheduling with our friends in Austin. Especially considering what we learned about LSPb on Saturday.

Basically, the Austin skirmish schedule alternates every week, eg.
Week1: @ TXPB
Week2: @ Hunter's
Week3: @ TXPB
Week4: @ Hunter's

Im sure to be down sometime. You scheduled the debut for the week after a major op. You guys are hardcorps.

Athena, we do alternate every other week, but we just changed this week because of popular demand.

The past few weeks, I tried to post several weeks in advance in the appropriate forum. I'll try to keep up with that.

I will be playing in Austin for the first time. So, we will be playing at Hunter's? Doesn't matter to me. I am just looking forward to playing a few games.

Look forward to meeting you guys.

Einstein, yes we are at Hunters this week. This will allow better practice for OP: RG2.

Jay - We're probably not going to "debut" on the 13th. We might assemble a slightly different plan and look to "debut" shortly thereafter :)

Is Hunter's the field that hosted Sneaky Devil?

Sweet! Is there anyone selling BBs? I could use a bag of .20s. If anyone has any to sell, could they quote me a price and reserve me a bag?

THANKS.

Agrovale and Obsidian usually sell bags of .2's for $15 a piece.
