So, after hearing great things about John Willis' subloads, I decided to give his Patrol model a try:

The design itself is straightforward, with two mag pouches each capable of holding three AR mags, two AK mags, or two .308 mags. There are also two smaller pouches on the sides for pistol mags, flashlights, multitools, or other small items.

As you can see, this subload has the potential to be used with many different platforms.

The lids are long enough to accommodate AK mags, and I even managed to secure them with two UMP mags.
