View Full Version : BAttery Wiring
I recently bought a folding stock for my gun (Mp5) as well as a Large foregrip to fit a large battery. Well I was sitting here and I realized, "I have a full stock, which means my wiring was meant to go to the back, but now I'll have a folding stock which mean my wiring needs to go up front!!!"
I'm lost on what type of modification I need to do. Assistance would be appreciated.

On the MP5 with sliding stock, there is a wire assembly that goes to the front of the gun instead of to the rear. The mechbox is still wired out the rear.
Go to the Download section of this site and find the manual for TM MP5. Look at page9.
I'm not sure what I'm looking for. I know the wires go out the back, but how do I get them to go to the front of the gun and inside of the foregrip?

Did you look at the page9 of the manual I mentioned? It clearly shows a wiring harness going to the front of the gun, which should be easy enough to replicate.
I see it. Thanks for the help.
Yea, I can't get it to the front of the gun without the mechbox destroying the wire.

Im telling you man just attach a battery pouch to the foldable stock.
Tell me how I'm going to get the wire outside of the gun.

Ever heard of a Dremel?
I fail to see how you can't wire to the front of the gun. The wire goes on the outside of the mechbox.
The mechbox takes up the entire inside of the body. I got it to fit once but that resulted in the mechbox cutting the wire and shorting the battery.

....which translates into not routing it correctly, not that it won't work.
I just gave up. I dont know what to do now.
