Last week, I ordered a King Arms OD Magazine from WGC. It arrived, among other parts, this afternoon. I ordered this out of a desire to determine how well the magazines are made and how well they fit various replicas. The only reason I ordered an OD magazine is because standard black magazines were not available at the time.

Fitment findings so far (cannot test fire at this time, will post findings after testing on Saturday):

Initial Fit attempts:

1. Prime Airsoft ZM LR300 replica mag well - Extremely tight fit, initially. After inserting and removing the magazine several times it now seats. Removal from the well still requires some force.

2. Guarder HK-M416D MBK - Not yet tested, mag catch is not currently installed. I will post findings later.

3. Sun Project XM177E2 - Would not seat at all against the catch.

4. Sun Project M4 - Slightly better fit than LR300, but tight initially. Seated well against mag catch after several attempts. Required force to remove the magazine.

Fit attempts, after polishing magazine with a Dremel:

1. Prime Airsoft ZM LR300 replica mag well - Better fit, though some resistance against the mag catch remains. Best overall fit amongst my replicas.

2. Guarder HK-M416D MBK - See above.

3. Sun Project XM177E2 - Still would not seat at all against the catch.

4. Sun Project M4 - Better fit than initial attempts, but still tight. Milder force was required to remove the magazine from the well.

I'd like to test this magazine in other receiver sets on Saturday. If you're interested in helping and have an Armalite replica, please find me at the field so we can give it a shot in your receiver. Thanks.

HH, I'll have my M15 there on Saturday, so we'll meet up and test it out. Perhaps we can do a side-by-side comparison against the MAG brand mags also.

I ordered some "MAG Brand" M14 magazines on BStann's behalf, with this order. The packaging is marked with a King Arms logo as well ;)
