I am wondering if there is a minimum age to participate and if so does any one know what it is?

I am wondering if there is a minimum age to participate and if so does any one know what it is? Yes, I do. However, so you'll learn on your own, perhaps you should take the time to read the link to the event at the top of this thread. All the important info is contained within it.

AustinWolv, you've done big ops like this before, do you know how medics are chosen? Do people just volunteer before the op starts, or are they assigned?

It really depends on the op organization beforehand and varies from event to event.

If people are placed in squads beforehand, there will typically be some conversation about designating a medic, which will usually be a volunteer request from the squad leader. If that doesn't occur, he'll usually just assign someone.

If squads are not set up before the event, let's say the morning of, then someone will either volunteer or Command will peg someone to do it.

If someone wants to do it, they are always more than welcome to volunteer, as good airsoft medics are somewhat hard to come by. (More people want to be the high-speed cool guy than the much-needed medic)
For example, if you wanted to do it, just announce to your Command structure that you are interested.

Overall, it is a rather informal process.

Hey guys.

I am glad to see the enthusiam for AF2, I have spent almost every free moment since Fallen Fortress planning and running down stuff for this operation. This is my dream Op and I am glad to be able to share it with you guys. I have tried my best to give this an immersive experience without overly limiting people's ability to participate.

Anyone have an idea how many BB's one should bring? Also, is there usually a vendor that sells BB's at these types of events?

Bring them all:D It depends much on your style of play. If you are heavy on the trigger, bring alot. If you are light on the trigger, bring alot as well, because you may get into a crazy firefight and expend more rounds that you plan to. Ran into that this last weekend in Oklahoma, used more mags in a thirty minute battle than I normally use in an entire game.

Not sure on the vender thing, someone else will have to ansewer that one.

Hyun, plan on bringing at least 6,000 rounds.

Registered.

This property is primarily a paintball facility. Therefore, you need to be sure to bring fully-sealing goggles. Ballistics glasses, meshes, or whatever else don't cut it.

Is anyone else from the "Austin" group going in period uniform?
I am planning to go in full Nam era uniform as close as possible.

hyudun, TomatoSalad, and myself are just gonna be in woodland, as we're a bunch of pennyless college students. Besides which, we're running a G36c, a L85, and a FAMAS, none of which are even remotely period weapons.

Any help would be appreciated.
