I am curious as to whether or not this silencer is actually a barrel extension, or just a QD silencer.

If it is a barrel extension, then will it improve upon the accuracy of the inner barrel, or does it have no effect?

If it is just a QD silencer, then does it dampen the sound at all? Or is it just there to look pretty?

There are two versions, the version with Foam Inserts ( illegal to ship to the US )
and the one without Foam Inserts ( legal to ship to the US )

Thank you for any help anyone can give me. ^_^

There are calling it a barrel extension to get by legal terms, i.e. loophole terminology.

The one with foam inserts will deaden out the sound some, making the tone deeper if you were listening from the muzzle end. That makes it illegal by ATF terms. Thus, that is why there is just an aluminum tube, generically called as such, sold in the US for the replica look. Without the foam, it won't have much effect on killing sound. It is cosmetic.

Ok, thanks Wolv.

I guess I can scratch this from my wish list then.
