As of now, it appears that we'll have a partly cloudy day, 61 degrees, 10% chance of rain.

I plan on being at this one, sometime in the neighborhood of 1100.

Please post your expected arrival times, as I know there has been discussion of starting a bit earlier.

Ah crap, I screwed up the time. Will fix it in a minute.
It should be 1000h-1700h for skirmishing.

I'm planning on being there.

Josh, you need to review site rule #18. Thanks for adhering to that in the future. It is not negotiable.

Details on location and driving directions to TXPB can be found in the Austin skirmishes forum.

Sorry about "no" I'm just tired and not paying attention. I know that the correct grammar is "know" and I also think it is a good rule.

My apologies

Does anyone have a spare headset that they could bring? Anything that works with a Talkabout would be awesome. I need a headset for a friend (as Rattler calls him, "Roo")

I'll be there.
I just got my AfrikaKorps uniform back from the seemstress who was sewing on the insignia, so I will have something apropriate to wear while I use the new MP40.

Hopfully it won't be too chilly and windy.

I will be showing up with 3 people including Faught, a cousin, and I at 10:00am.
Does anyone have an extra gun my cousin can borrow? Hes gonna be trying out the whole airsoft thing.
Faught and I have guns. The gun that Faught is providing for my cousin is a plastic gear box thats why I ask.

Thanks guys and hope to see you all out there.

Most folks are hesitant to loan out their guns, so your cousin should try the plastic gun as long as it runs.

An aside: I forgot to say I won't be there until Noon so Irish or anyone who needs BBs might want to borrow some until then.

Today went pretty well and I enjoyed myself. Glad to see everyone who made it out.

I have to say that the MP40 is well worth the trouble to wait for and performed very well. I also did better with it that I anticipated, as I was able to score six "kills" despite only carrying two standard magazines. I wanted to wait to actual get a skirmish under my belt with it before writing my review, so I'm about to sit down and type that up.

One point I would like to raise is that it's my vote that we go back to the normal skirmish times. The whole purpose of the earlier start time was to maximise play time. However this really is not occuring as much as we hoped due to the fact that many people are showing up late for whatever reason (it's cold, church commitments, over-sleeping, whatever..). Thoughts?

I agree with going back to the original start time. Regardless if we do or don't, I won't be showing up before 11 anymore.

If the community-at-large decides that y'all want to go back to the original start time, then that's fine by me.

I only ask that game play (not briefings, not still gearing-up, etc.) PROMPTLY starts at 1PM.

Yes the time ideas sounds good. I had fun today, especially playing the attack and defend in the creek bed.

Agreed on the standard time. Also had an absolute blast today. Thanks for the fun guys. Trench, good going today. I love that MP40.

Yesterday was really fun, I liked the wounded troops senario. We should do that again with more people. I have to say that Katana's comment when he came up on Soria and I was classic and should go the forums of awesome things said durring skirmish, I think it was more the way he said it....:D Good times guys.

I really didn't mind the early start time, because we finished early and gave me some more relax time when I got home.
