I am thinking of ordering theese for my AK47 Beta...

http://all-battery.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=887

Some people have told me that they will mess up the gearbox and some people tell me they will be fine. Will it actually do anything or will it be fine? Also, are the batteries they sell really as great as people have made them out to be?

Thanks, Austin

I have practicaly the same ones for my AK, and use the 9.6v version for my m-15. They work great. No problems at all for me.

I have 2 of their 9.6v 3000mah large batteries for my AEG. They're fine. The tenergy cells are decent. They have a high discharge rate and low resistance.

I wouldn't recommend you spend the money on that charger though. Those "plug and pray" type chargers are not at all accurate for charging batteries and will many times tell you the battery is charged and it really isn't. If you're like me, then you won't find this fact out until you're in the middle of a firefight and your battery dies. If you're hell bent on having one of those chargers, then I've got one exactly like it that I'll give to you for nothing....that should tell you something right there.

Do youself a favor and get yourself a good charger. Jay makes some great recommendations for battery chargers in his "purchase primer" thread here -> http://www.lonestarairsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1886.

Wow, thanks for helping me out on that. I guess what I want is a nice battery and a nice charger. I really want to keep the price under $60 including shipping. I don't need 2 batteries... are there any chargers that are basically the same that dont run on car batteries? (That should cut cost.) Because I can't even drive yet so it is pointless.
