M203 grenade launcher [Archive]

Hey guys, I have been contemplating the purchase of a M15A4 SPC from Classic Arms. In the web site where I am searching, Kapowwe.com, there is a bundle pack for the rifle and a M203 grenade launcher, green gas, and a grenade thing. However, I am not sure wether I should get it. I want to ask you all veteran gunners that go to ops if a grenade launcher is worth the money or just a deadweight for looks only. Is it really useful or only in very desperate needs?
