I plan on being there.

Not only am I just itching to play after being gone for a bit, but I have a new pair of jackboots I really need to get broke in before a WW2 reenactment event I'm attending on the 20th.

They will look pretty odd with BDUs, so I'd be tempted to wear the whole WW2 kit kit out on Sunday, but THAT would look a bit silly with my G3SAS or SAW.

I'm new so ill try to be there. Is there an age limit?

AustinWolv

TXPB age requirement is 10 years of age minimum with parent consent form. If you are under 14, your adult guardian needs to be onsite.

Since you are new, please review the TASO ruleset carefully and ask questions of experienced players when you arrive.

And another thing, this may sound stupid why is it about paint ball in the TAOS rule set, aren't we going to play airsoft?

The link 'Wolv provided was to Texas Paintball's website. TXPb is one of the facilities at which the LSA community skirmishes.

The TASO ruleset is the commonly accepted set of guidelines for playing airsoft in the state of Texas. You can find out more about TASO and the rules by visiting http://www.texasairsoft.org

All American, please review site rule#18. Proofreading your post should take all of 15 seconds. Thanks for helping keep the site clean.

Hunter's is down in South Austin. However, it recently became unavailable for our use. For the near-term at least, weekly skirmishes will be held at TXPB. The link I provided was to their FAQ, which shows the age requirements at the bottom of the page. Since you are younger than 18, your parent/guardian will still have to sign the waiver.

Do they sign the waiver at the field? And does it cost money?

AustinWolv

You can download the waiver from the TXPB site, I believe, or your parents can sign it at the field.
Field fee is $10 for the day.

I've been out of the loop for a while with work and all so I have not been up to speed...

What happened with Hunter's?
