View Full Version : Austin Weekly Skirmish: Hunter's (and 7/2 BBQ?)
07-01-2006, 08:38 AM
Show up at noon; skirmishing starts at roughly 1pm.
Feel free to suggest scenarios and lead them.
A Fourth of July BBQ is historically held during this timeframe, so speak up if you were planning to participate.
Chance of rain might mean that 7/9 is a better day to have a BBQ, especially since it does not appear anyone is prepared for 7/2. ;)

I am coming out tomorrow. I need one gun though if anyone could pull on together. Thanks

I'm *planning* on making it and can loan the G3 if you need it.
Sounds like a number of others will be there also.

We'll be there if the weather doesn't suck.

I am planning on being there.........
Gotta start getting used to using standard mags for Irene.

If the date is 7/2, I won't be able to make it, but if it's 7/9 I should be there.

This thread is for 7/2, and it appears that food and celebratory toy explosives will be present.

I will try to come.

Thanks Wolv. See you all there!

We're getting pretty heavy rain in San Antonio, right now (I just got power back about 30 minutes ago). The weather forecasts show it moving north, predicting thunderstorms for Austin this afternoon. I hate to say it, because this has been a fun event in the past, but I think we'd be best off postponing. Grilling in the muck is no fun.

Sorry guys (IMI), while it might be fun to get muddy normally.......I'm bailing this time around. Too tired to deal. :)

I am not going to be coming either. Weather is pretty nasty. I drove to the airport and it was raining pretty hard the whole way there. I guess I will see you all next Sunday.

I'm dissappointed in you guys, MilSim is Milsim. Our troops don't get to stay inside when it rains. ;) see ya at the next one

When you get back from 24 hours of travel from overseas and are ready to skirmish, let us know. :p

Sorry I had only been awake for about 5 minutes at that point and coffee was more important than the spelling. Sorry I disappointed you.
Went out to see who would show anyway, had a couple games with 5 people.

You should be, given the weak excuse of just waking up.
Is that what you intend to tell your employer some morning after making a mistake?

So, given that today's skirmish was originally scheduled for TXPB, would that mean that next week's will be at Hunter's?

Might as well return to the same rotation, so yes, Hunter's....in my opinion.
