Welcome to the site.

There is a small, short review that can be found in the Site Reviews. A local player has been using the knockoff for a short while.

Other than that, not too sure people on this site have extensive use and knowledge between the two yet.

By the way, it is "which".

Oh sorry about the spelling. Do you have any website suggestions on the this matter?

Try ASR. (AirsoftRetreat)

There is usually a good deal of info on knockoff/cheap replicas there, although wading through the "It Rul3z" and "dis gun 0wnz" posts to find a couple actual good posts will take some time.

It all depends on what you want. I bought the USR 11 because I planned on upgrading it as soon as possible. With all of the upgrades I have put into it my USR 11 shoots ~430-450fps. By buying the USR 11 I sved about $100 which was put into upgrades but I am starting to notice a couple of problems. First of all you can't put a zero trigger into the USR 11 which is ok if you want to stay under 500fps and the HFC hop up isn't nearly as good as the Tokyo Mauri. Not to fret, I am about to order a Gspec hop up. I found out a couple days ago that the USR 11 comes with barrel spacers and the TM does not. As far as I can tell otherwise the HFC is exactly the same as the TM
Overall if you want stock performance and the best hop up out there go with Tokyo Mauri, if you want a cheaper way into sniping get the HFC.

snip·er
n.
1. A skilled military shooter detailed to spot and pick off enemy soldiers from a concealed place.
2. One who shoots at other people from a concealed place.

I think "sniper RIFLE" or "sniper's WEAPON" is a little more accurate then wanting to buy a "sniper".

anal retentive
adj.
1. A person deemed to be overly obsessed with minor details

The term is often used in a derogatory sense to describe a person with such attention to detail that the obsession becomes an annoyance to others, and can be carried out to the detriment of the anal-retentive person.

Supposedly the JG BAR10 is a decent clone of the Marui and you can do a simple mod to get it upwards 500fps so you might want to google for info on it. I'm just going off what I have read about it. You always have to take what you see on the net with a grain of salt. Comparing the prices though its mighty tempting to get ahold of one some day down the road. You can never have enough airsoft replicas.

Agreed on the "sniper" argument, though. Every time I hear someone saying they want to buy a sniper, I envision a full-grown man in a ghille suit being pulled out from under a counter and handed to the customer. :D
