I know it's not Austin local....but it is in Texas. Awesome assortment of equipment. High quality stuff.

Two stores in San Antonio
One in Houston
One in Weatherford....where ever that is.

Bull Tactical Outfitters is no longer in business. I was told that Lance(owner) has been deployed to Iraq. I have no idea if the business will be open again.

Got any good outlets here in the Dallas area...

I can not find a full line Airsoft shop here (am thinking about opening one)

Carry On.

Try www.airsoftadvance.com for the DFW area.

09-08-2008, 11:56 AM
Also you can check out http://www.tacticalfusion.com/ I've met John a few times through mutual friends, and he seems like a very stand up guy. So I guess you can try that as well.

09-08-2008, 12:52 PM
Is that local to Central Texas or in CA?

09-08-2008, 12:57 PM
I dunno, I thought it was local due to every time I've met John was here in Austin, at friends house or at the bar with same said friends. I might be wrong, but I was under the impression it was.

Alamo Tactical has updated their website, appears they'll have a B&M store soon next to Fort Sam Houston in SA.

09-08-2008, 02:15 PM
I've bought several items from them. The guy is extremly nice and I've been waiting for him to open up a proper storefront. If your in the SA area give him a call if your in need of something.

I'll be happy when they get thier 01 FFL in order. Thanks for the update Raptor.

I went to the navy army store today off lamar and found some really good stuff for a cheap price. I would definately recommend it to anyone looking for boots, pants, shirts, etc...

Killeen, TX has a few good places to shop as well. I frequent Surplus City and Quantico Tactical Supply. It's a drive for most, but I go there to visit family.

Surplus City - three locations.
The biggest store is on Willow Springs. I use that one for name plates and to sew stuff on my uniforms. Name plates are around $1.50 each and $1.00 to sew anything on. Uniform prices are hard to beat online, but they would have plenty of ACUs, DCUs, and Woodlands if you really need them fast.

Quantico Tactical (http://www.quanticoarms.com/documents/directions/ftHoodDirections.asp)
Quantico Tactical is always worth a look there too. They remind me of a smaller GT Dist, but sometimes have good sales.

Hey, I just wanted to put in a good word for the Quonset Hut.
The man that works there is very helpful, and actually seemed very interested in possibly selling higher quality airsoft guns and bbs.
If you are in the area, i highly recommend stopping by and chatting with him.

08-16-2009, 01:30 AM
^Ed Hall is the man, one of most down to earth and honest guys you could ever want to talk to.

I've talked to him before about carrying airsoft gear.
Trying to get him to steer away from no name low end brands and at least carrying high quality BB's so that we have a local place to purchase them.

We need more people to go in there and let him know there are people willing to support him getting into airsoft so he will be more inclined to do so.

I personally recomend the NS Army Navy store they have a huge selection of BDU's and other tactical gear

I haven't heard if there is any airsoft dedicated store in my city but, does anyone know any crediable store or sites that is local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area or the lawton area?

03-14-2010, 02:42 PM
Check out Kastway airsoft. The owner is local to you, but he does not have a storefront.

http://www.kastwayairsoft.com/ is their website. Many members of the community have bought from them for a few years now. I recommend them.

The website does not list everything. Good selection of replicas and upgrade parts. Huge selection of tactical gear, I have purchased from them several times when I go to Dallas.

The Army Navy surplus store off Lamar is one of my personal favs. It's also one of the ONLY places besides ebay, that I know of where you can buy authentic MARPAT, at a reasonable price as well.

07-22-2010, 06:22 PM
The Quonset Hut off of Guadalupe also sells authentic Marpat.

The owner of The Army Store, Mike Green, is great to deal with. He also lets players skirmish for free at his field in Forney, TX. Wish he would get someone to update his website, it would definitely help out his business.

07-22-2010, 06:47 PM
@whiterabbit05: Do you mean the owner of the store on Lamar, Quonset hut, or a totally different shop?

07-22-2010, 08:32 PM
Unfortunately the store on Mays in Round Rock is no longer open, a real shame because the owner there was a very nice guy.

The owner of The Quonset Hut, in Austin, has authentic Marpat. His name is Ed Hall, great guy.

The owner of The Army Store, in Dallas, lets people use his field for free. His name is Mike Green, also a stand up guy.

Yeah I gotta do this....

07-23-2010, 03:23 AM
:D Im just surprised that nobody posted anything about finding authentic MARPAT in the past before...

07-23-2010, 11:24 AM
I've seen authentic Marpat at Banana Bay Trading Co. too.

Anyone know where I can pick up a quick release piece? I have a Tavor that has the slot for a quick release but I'm having trouble just tracking one down for some reason.

11-15-2011, 09:20 AM
If you are talking about a quick release for a sling, try GT Distributors on Brockton Dr. near Burnet and Braker.

12-09-2011, 01:19 PM
I don't mean to necro, but I was under the impression that the Tavor just had a piece of Paracord that served as a sling mount?
