Will you be there?
What scenarios interest you?
Which game elements do you want to incorporate?
Will you bring friends?

Please SLOW DOWN! lol... just kidding.

Honestly I can't see that far ahead. I'll edit my post as it gets closer.:p

This is the F.O.G. one year anniversary of the formation of the team. So, there should be quite a few of us there.

I'm pretty sure some of the SA guys, and girls:D, will be there as well.

While you're figuring that out, make sure you have goggles on.....and I'm across the field. :p

You want me to bring your backup SR?

MrZero

Absolutely Wolv, I'm sure it misses its stock, which I have. I'll bring the MP5 for you to look at...:D

Since there should be alot of people for this game, it has been suggested that we make it an event.
What do y'all think of the following protocol:

FOG brings:
Cokes
Beer
Ice
Tortillas
Salsa

Whiskey brings:
cheap HEB premarinated fajitas
Sausages
Charcoal

SF1
Our guests - they don't have to bring anything.

Agree?
Good idea?
Bad?

Athena
09-10-2003, 11:31 AM
Sounds like a great idea. I can bring something fast & easy like chips!

Falcon

Jay, I'd suggest that instead of sausage and fajitas that the menu be changed to burgers, dogs, and brats. Fajitas are too messy to eat in the field. That and brats+beer=heaven. :>

I guess that's cool. I don't care. I just wanted confirmation that the Whiskey guys will be able to bring da MEAT. [i know it's been a problem in the past :p]

Dark

What? Free food? I'll be there. It's only four hours, after all...

Falcon

I can't speak for everyone on WC about the meat, but we have no problem bringing the PAIN, sucka!

Really? That's strange. Your mom keeps coming back. Freakin' psycho stalker, she is. :p

Yes, if we're going to do this, we can bring food.

I do believe that this gentleman speaks of the pain he does not have time for, because the only pain he has time for is the pain he puts on foo's who don't know what time it is. God bless Terry Tate.

You should be worried, Mr. Wolverine. That picture was photoshop a friend of mine did putting my head from a weird picture onto Agent Smith's body.

FOG brings:
Cokes
Beer (good stuff, not Natural Light. ;) )
Ice
Tortillas
Salsa

Whiskey brings:
Hamburgers
Hot dogs
Sausages
Charcoal
Buns
Mustard

SF1 brings:
Out-of-town guests are not obligated, as Austin is playing host.

Unaffliateds bring:
Anything you can (paper plates, chips)

Let me know if any of the above creates an issue.

What kind of numbers are we looking at overall? It would help us plan what to bring.

Fill it in below:
FOG: ?
WC: ?
SF1: ?

Bstann

I will bring the hot dog buns.

Athena
09-11-2003, 10:03 AM
SF1 - I have a thread out for confirmations but I think because we have it posted as mandatory, we will have anywhere from 10 to 15 players show up. I'm counting on the high side.

Jay
09-11-2003, 10:15 AM
FOG should have 12 guys out

FOG & Friend of FOG included ;)

I reccomend you attend every game you possibly can jackel, why miss good fun?

chrisvalla
09-12-2003, 08:01 AM
It's only annoying the first few times, after that you learn to just bum rush and hope to get in range.:D

Besides, those with upgraded guns need pickets, skirmishers, and point-men just in front of us to know when we're engaged.;)

Seriously, it does help to be at a slight disadvantage so you can learn how to overcome whatever it is 'you' don't have and 'they' do. It just means you need to get closer, faster, or be extra sneaky to cancel out their advantage.

Jackal,

Chrisvalla is right on the money. I've been playing Airsoft for about a year and a half and still run a stock gun.

Don't let your equipment keep you from gaining experience.

In regards to the BBQ afterwards, plan on accomodating 40 people.

I'll have a gas grill out there for whoever the master chef is.

Hehe, no problem, as we've all been there. Learning is half the battle, and a lot of the fun. Trying different things and getting gear sorted out is an interesting process.

As I've heard so eloquently, you are never as bad as your worst day and never as good as your best day. :)

So there's a 'back-up' in case the 'regular' is out?

I like it!
