View Full Version : 9/11/05 - Hunter's (Standard Mag Day)

Reminder that 9/11 is a day for standard mags only at Hunter's. If you hate the idea, you could probably round up a game at TXPB.

-Regular AEG = standard mags only (TM standards, STAR lo-caps for example, no hi-cap/midcap mags)
-Support weapons = Allowed this time; Can have 1200 rounds loaded (For example, RPK can have two AK hi-caps loaded; M249 could run (4) 300rd hi-caps or if you feel like counting predetermined sets of rounds, you could run a box mag....weirdo.)
-Sniper weapons = spring and gas sniper weapons use whatever mag they use; AEG sniper weapon are allowed also, but are restricted to standard mags.

you could run a box mag....weirdo.

Just a suggestion, for the folks who want to use a box... fill up the three hi caps, pour them into the box. *shrug*

Yeah, im one of those weirdo's. That was my plan. I figured id draw a fill line inside the box mag after that too... just for the future since these games seem to be popular among certain crowds and are becoming more common.

12:00pm, according to the calendar.

Cyan, expect people to start showing up at noon. I'll be there then to unlock the gate. Gameplay will start at 1pm, and we'll try to run until 6pm (if people can last that long).

I was gonna use the same manner to fill some bags for loading my boxmag........

Whats the deal with attendance?
Only 8 people?

09-07-2005, 10:09 AM
Unknown. Even on regular skirmish days, hardly anyone uses the roll call feature in the Calendar.

I am hopefully going to be there. I will finally make it to a skirmish. I have had something come up every sunday. I dont have a gun, I think masterofpuppets is going to take me and let me borrow one of his.

Anyone have a rough idea of how many people we can expect on Sunday?

I'll be there...Mini Kilo may or may not. Unknown yet on his attendance.

In light of Gas Prices, 6 vs. 6, 5 hours of gameplay, and the time involved in travel we have decided to skate out on you guys. The motivation was lost. We do however look forward to the next Austin Event, so be sure to tell OBS. to let us know well in advance.

Thanks for the invite guys sorry we wont be making it.

Three from Houston Out.

Sorry to hear it, Cyan.

09-09-2005, 11:20 AM
Sorry to bail on you guys but money is tight and my truck is a gas hog.

09-10-2005, 11:24 PM
Im not going to be there afterall. I was really hoping to. Something always happens. :(

09-11-2005, 12:17 AM
Sorry guys count me out, I will be pulling a shift downtown working with the Evacuee children. I saw a need, prayed and so I go to encourage, to lift up, to stirr up, and help those little ones that don't feel like they have a purpose anymore to find their purpose once again.

Now that rain has entered the picture, anyone going at all?

09-11-2005, 10:13 AM
Right on, MG7.

Fellow players, due to weather like today's giving historically low numbers, along with the limited numbers for today anyway, today's skirmish at Hunter's is a no-go. We'll work on setting up another date in the coming months.

The typical Sunday rotation of no-mag-limit skirmishing at TXPB could still occur if people so choose, so go have fun.

Im glad I didn't go beacause I would have showed up and no one would have been there!
