i was wondering can an ICS mp5 a4 run on a 7.2 volt 2000 mAh rechargeable battery or does it need a 9.6 volt. or will the 7.2 hurt my gun

You need to have atleast an 8.4 volt battery.

Well, you don't "need at least" an 8.4v battery. It will run faster with the 8.4v which in turn will wear out the internals a bit faster.

The only difference between the A4 and A5 MP5's (ICS or TM) is the collapsing and solid stock. They both will run on either battery.

Now, that's if they are both stock in the mechbox. (Which Cheesecake didn't even mention)

It's not all that slow, true, it'll be slower than the 8.4v but it'll run. :)
