I'm interested in attending this...

Anyone want to convoy down or put together an Austin team to go?

Convoy would probably be good; we'll have to figure it out once people decide if they are going.

Hmmmmm...

My schedule puts me off that weekend and I had a complete blast at the night op' earlier this year. Pencil me in for this event. I'll try to drag my two "fair weather" airsoft friends along as well.

Team Forums are now up as well now.

There is some concern about not allowing mixed unis, i.e. green bottom with tan top for example.
Would Jay's rules from this past weekend's mini-op be appropriate perhaps?

1. Army designation will be by BDU blouse color.
2. If one elects to wear only a t-shirt, then one’s t-shirt AND his BDU trousers must be the same color as that of his Army.
3. Headgear and trousers the same color as your Army is strongly encouraged.
4. Uniform regulations will be strictly enforced.
5. MULTICAM and ACU will be DESERT uniforms.

Also, how are you guys treating the patterns listed in #5 above? As desert or woodland?

Sounds good to me. Ill let the ranks know. We'll use Jay's rule set as listed.

Also,
Here is a link for directions
http://www.houstonairsoft.com/bsg.htm

Field fee is $10.00 + Tax (Jay just called to ask so I thought id throw that out.

Anything else just let us know.

Night game was a lot of fun! RedBull, hydration, and adrenaline from some fun night skirmishing apparently make the drive home easier, rolling in at 5am. :)

Just wanted to thank the Houston types for extending the invite out, and it was enjoyable to skirmish with/against them, along with meeting some new people.

Great time down there...Good missions, interesting POW twist that I think is worth exploring more and most importantly, hanging out with the guys-Hammer, Wolv, Katana, Bstann and Danny.

Thanks guys!
8 hours of good game play aint bad.
Yeah i'm with Red... maybe one of these days we'll be able to get a game off without a hitch. So far were 0-2 with you guys. We do always get to play but its always something ehh?

What Katana? No spider comments ;0)

Thanks for coming out guys! Look forward to seeing you again on the standard mag day. PEACE!!

I thought about making a spider comment, but I was afraid I'd just end up scaring people away from further skirmishes at that field.

The memory of that big sucker crawling off my collar and up the side of my face freaks me out just thinking about it. Apologies to Red for flinging it toward him, but that spider had to go away. Now. And I wasn't thinking much about where it was going.

Neat field though. And the spiders really weren't that much worse than they are in sections of Maypearl. And they were better than they were at that field used for Operation: Lonestar.

Again, thanks for having us out guys.

Picture me running around screaming. That would have been close to my reaction had it been me.

I'm sorry I wasn't able to catch the game, but I'm NOT sorry I missed out on large, hairy creepy-crawlies on my person. :vomit:

My son hooked up with a girl close to his age at this night op. These two were put on an LP and we didn't hear anything from them for like fifteen minutes...

Kilo to Danny - 'We put those two on a listening post, together at the same spot?'

Danny to Kilo - 'Well, at least you know he's (my son) not gay.'

Kilo to Danny - (sarcastically)'Well thanks, Danny, I hadn't even considered that...'
