There are enough positive votes, at this point, to reschedule the 07/03 skirmish for Hunter's, rather than Texas Paintball.

Please feel free to bring hamburgers, hot dogs, chilled beverages, plates, napkins, condiments, trashbags, whatever you'd like. We'll be partyin' like it's America's Birthday! After we skirmish, of course.

Will it be too dry for fireworks? It seems like that place gets no water, and I don't think that a fire would be a great way to thank the people for letting us use hunters.
If not, my brother and I have:

I'm not sure how many of us are coming up but U.W.G. will have some people coming up for the game.

Peyton has a valid point that a few of us discussed briefly today at the field. I'm no expert on fire prevention.....more like fire encouragment. :flame:
heh.

Anyway, maybe we limit fireworks to non-aerial stuff? What do you all think? Someone call the Spellman's and see what they think? It IS pretty dry out there.

Yeah, definetly no aerial stuff. If some of that tall grass caught fire.......

Tall grass + loads of people who love fireworks + Fire = well i'll let you figure it out
lol
anyways if you MUST bring fireworks i would suggest things that don't go up in flames but that's just my 2 cents

I believe theres a chance of rain on friday, so it may be wet enough for fireworks but we'll see.

Wouldn't Arials such as morter rounds be more safe from causing a ground fire?

aerial? ;)

Probably a different way of looking at it: Fireworks on the dirt/sandy paths and ground around the shack versus sparks being dispersed up in the air wherever a wind may take the aerial and thus landing in the taller, dry field grass.

Ill most likely be coming, with one person.
Just a question though, could I rent a sidearm for my brother?(he doesnt like aeg's and theres no use argueing.) If the gun uses green gas, I wont need to borrow gas.

I posted here cause there isn't any "Gas Loaner List" thread.

I will be there, a little late. However, I have no rentals available.

Sorry for the late responses... was in Atlanta, Ga until late last night. :)
