M16 to Fa-Mas

I was just reading a thread about the Fa-Mas at Arnies and they mentioned converting M16 mags to the Fa-Mas. Has anyone had done this before, and if you have how did you go about doing it?

I could save a lot of money doing that since Fa-Mas mags cost almost 10 bucks more.
