Will you be showing?
Will you have friends?
Which scenarios do you wanna play?

2. It's the day before my birthday. An appropriate gift would be a bag of .2 BBs. :D

The preferable method of delivery for Jay's present would be in a line at 400 fps :D

I should be attending.

I will be bringing three friends.

Not too sure about the scenarios...is there really that much we can do at TXPB?

Happy b-day, Jay.

I will not be attending.

Sure.
1. Is your preference the Trenches, Crackhouse, or Wooded A-Field?
2. Do you wanna play semi-auto only games on the faster fields?
3. Do you wanna play with respawns?
4. Longer games with unlimited respawns?
5. Timed games?
6. Do you like capture the flag?
7. downed pilot?
8. supply delivery?

etc.

I might me getting a pistol but I don't want to wait 6-8 weeks for the gas to get to my house. Does anyone have some HFC 22 gas for me to buy? Preferably a full can. :)

You should ask this question elsewhere.

Like the WTB or Want to Buy areas.

You can also ask Obisdian or Agrovale.

I can't make it this weekend. But I do have green gas...

Erp, I guess there are lots of scenarios we can play at TXPB. I liked the supply delivery we played at Hunter's. Respawns are good, but I think two is the max that would be fun to play with. A-field is fun to play on, and I like the idea of semi-auto only on the fast fields. Capture the flag is always fun.

if i am back from colorado in time, i will be there this sunday.

This is a little off topic but didnt know where else to put it, i saw that a guy in the loaner AEG list was renting out an AK47 with 400 FPS. I PMed 3-4 days ago, but didnt get a response. Any of you guys know if he is still around here in Austin. Reason i want to rent it is because i am thinking about replacing my black AK and getting a full stock AK. Thanks, hope to see you guys there.

You might want to try renting the AUG from Agro. It barely has any weight to it and it fits smaller people like yourself very well. It also has 400 fps and an excellent range.

I have not seen chanman post anything for a month or two, so trying to contact him is pretty much useless.

thanks rayzor, will look into that

Chandler, AKA Chanman551 currently is not in possession of his AK47, so it would be most doubtful that he would be able to rent it out.

I'd like to play the first 2 warm up games semi-auto on whichever small field to which we have access.

cclark1985
08-13-2003, 03:57 PM
I'll play semi only.

WidoW-MakeR

As would I.

Brittain

So what exactly would be the point of a "semi-only" game? What would we be simulating? Or what additional fun would we expect?

No simulation, really. Just a chance to use different movements and tactics on the same fields. Just for the sake of variety.

Brittain
08-13-2003, 05:43 PM
That's fine.

I'd prefer we play single mag or 300 rd limit, or something like that. Yes, I realize these are two different play constraints.

Katana

I'm assuming that you wouldn't hold people using standard's to just a single magazine. Is that correct?

Brittain
08-14-2003, 11:03 AM
Correct. Which is why something like 300rd makes more sense. 1 hicap, or whatever combination of lowcaps you prefer.

Milkman

I think I will make it out there.

Bringing two, maybe more friends.

I like Crackhouse. :) But anything suits me, as long as there are no respawns.

Hello all!! It's been along time. Haven't played in a couple monthes.

"semi-auto only" - is this the jay I know and love???

Phillip

Can the admin please delete all references to "semi-auto only" - i fear that this insipid idea will spread like a pestilence. Then again, my normal playing style may explain why all of my guns are broken. :D

I had a great time. Except when i got home i felt exactly like that. I think the sun cooked my brain pretty well. :D

I had fun playing with medic rules for the first time, and being a medic was alot of fun. The only bad thing that happened today was when i was leaping for cover and i landed face first into an ant pile....that wasn't too much fun.

You head throbbing is a classic sign of dehydration. Alot of you guys need to start bringing much more water than you had out there today.

I knew I needed water :/ I just kept playing though. Next time I will listen to my body, for sure.

For these hot summer days, I bring a 50oz CamelBak full of ice and water, filled canteen, and 2-4 extra water bottles. I have yet to be dehydrated or thirsty.
