Do you think the crossdraw vests are good? I have been looking for a vest and a holster and i found it all in one, but i need to see if they are a help. Thanks.

A number of people have started with that kind of vest, namely the BHI Omega series. Pretty well-built, and it is a good vest, but the problem is that there is a lot of material that encloses the user. In the Texas summer heat, that leaves one quite toasty.
-Built-in holster holds just about any pistol out there. I can remember stuffing a Mk23 into it.
-Holster position is convenient
-Decent amount of pouches
-Built-in hydration carrier
-Lack of modularity
-Mag pouches were focused for M16 type mags, so other mags don't fit as nicely

Thanks Wolv, i guess the only set back for me is.... the heat (especialy in our Texas weather). I am (maybe) getting this because i am getting a CA M15A4 SPC for my birthday so the M16 mags wont be a problem. Would a normal vest and a seprate holster help?

Yes, most alternatives one can think of would be cooler to wear than an Omega-style crossdraw.
