I'm going to put myself down for this one, but it may be a bit too soon....so we'll just have to see.

What time does the match start and when do people start to show up for it? I'm new to the sport and looking into starting up. I'd like to attend this next match to meet some people and see the game in action. I look forward to joining the airsoft community. Thanks for the info.

Due to scheduling changes (Easter), 4/3 would be the 3rd weekend in a row at Hunter's. Keeping it at Hunter's would put us back in the right rotation, so does anyone have a problem with that?

It's important to note that the switch to Daylight Savings Time also occurs this weekend.

I'm fine with it.

Well, to be fair to TxPb, even though they were closed on us for Easter :p the game will be at TxPb this week. That will put us back on regular schedule next week with the silly standard mag only game ;) which will also be at TxPb.

So it will have been Hunters for the last two weekends, and TxPb for the next two.

So just to be clear, Is it going to be at txpb or at Hunters for the 3rd?

Wrangler, it sounds like it will be held at TXPB for the next two weeks.

If you're looking on renting one look up: Loaners Section http://www.lonestarairsoft.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1845

Obsidian,

Is it possible for me to get my MC-51 back from you this weekend? I'll see about borrowing one or Two of Dutch's weapons just in case or to loan.

Thanks

Thor

As posted on the previous games thread I've talked to everyone in the Loaners section and Agro is the only one that might let me use one. (if he goes to the game ect.) Thanks for re-reminding me though. :)

OK, Ghost and I are probably going to go to out this Sunday, but only for a few things:

Check our airsoft guns, and see if anyone possibly wants to purchase it/them.
Check out the new field for a minute.
See if my paintball gun still works so I can sell it.
See where it goes from there :P.

If you didn't know, I have an Airsoft Elite MP5-A5 v3.5 and Ghost has an Airsoft Elite MP5-SD5 v3.5. I'm trying to convert it back to the mini (in the past, I used a large battery that was stored externally....which looked ugly), so I probably won't be able to play. If the guns don't go locally, we'll put them on ebay and post the link in the classifieds. Thanks guys, hope to share a minute with you :).

Good games today. Seemed like good play all around. And you mercs and FOG really wore me out chasing me all over trenches hehe.

I cant remember that last time I had this fun and beat my body up at the same time. Knee pads! yes next time I will have knee pads. Spent the better part of Monday limping around and holding my lower back, popping Advil like they were M&Ms. Too much time spent sitting in front of a computer these past few years has made me all soft doughy.

Useful advice, for those backaches... don't do what I do, on a regular basis...

Look before you jump backwards. I've thrown myself into trees twice, now.

How much do these weekly skirmishes cost?

How much do these weekly skirmishes cost?
$10 field fee

Colin

Okay, thanks. I was expecting something ridiculous like $30. Would I have to have an AEG to play, or could I just bring my handgun along to see if I actually like it enough to spend money on an AEG?

AustinWolv

Feel free to just use your handgun. Needless to say, you will be noticeably outgunned, but better to see if you like the hobby than spend all the money and not enjoy it.

Also, rental AEGs are sometimes available. A thread on them can be found in the Weekly Skirmishes forum.
