Just wondering how many people here have binocs as part of their setup, obviously it seems that they would be useful, but also kind of cumbersome as far as looking through them with goggles on. Thoughts?

They come in handy every now and then.

Main problem is eye relief.

They're nice for open places like Hunter's and sometimes across wide clearings, but I've found them to be of limited use anywhere else. The eye relief issue would be the primary reason against them though (lifting your goggles just to look through them is a not a good idea and is certainly against safety regs - it would certainly suck to have a bad guy in close and unseen and pop an eye while you're switching).

Nice to have, but IMO not worth the safety headache/chances or extra weight.
