View Full Version : Grenade Launchers

Can anyone enlighten me on how the grenade luncher system works? My friend found a SR16 with a M203 grenade launcher mounted below the barrel, and I was wondering how these fire, what it fires (comes with a shell thing that is supposed to hold 30 shots, does it eject the casing or just the bb's), or if they have any practical use in an actual skirmish. Reviews found on this item have been no help, all they seem to say is that grenade launchers look cool and add to the guns appearance.

As you can see from searching, there is some decent, pre-existing info on these forums. You'll also note that there are two types: Spring-type (works like shotgun, including cocking it; by TM) and the gas type (works basically like shotgun; gas held in shell which when fired expels numerous BBs in a spread pattern with the actual number of BBs dependent on the type of shell used; made by MM, GBTech, ANGS, King Arms)

Sorry about that. Common sense should have told me to look in the accessories forum. Thanks for looking that up for me.

Yes, seeing as how I am the one who found the SR16, those links REALLY do help me out when I am debating whether or not I should by the SR16. I hear it has very nice FPS, around 400, and nice Mag. Cap. Well, thanks very much Austin, and thank you as well, Simmons.
