I have two KWC p226 spring pistols. They came with 4000 0.12 bbs (separately, it was an ebay deal- they didn't come with the gun. I noticed a sticker on the gun that said to use 0.2 bbs. I've already fired a lot of the .12s, are they harming my gun? (It has hop up). I just bought some 0.2 bbs from airsplat, which I think are made by airsplat, as they are unlabeled. They don't seem to shoot to straight; is this 'cause of the 012s or are airsplats just bad quality? If so where should I get better bbs?

For a spring gun, no, .12s will be fine. They will not have quite the accuracy as .2g BBs since they'll drift more easily.
Unlabeled BBs are typically not a good thing. Inspect them for roundness and smoothness. Injection-molding flash (it looks like a seam) can cause BBs to zing off to the side.
For a springer only, you could try the Cybergun BBs available at Academy. They work ok for springers and lower-powered AEGs. If you want great BBs, use AE. They can be bought from www.airsoftworx.com or any other retailer worth their salt.

I went to the academy's web site, they don't sell airsoft! Maybe I went to the wrong site, can someone give me a URL?

Do you live in Texas? Go to the store.

I have a Smith and Wesson pistol from Academy advertised at 302 fps. I got it checked, and with .12 it does 320 fps. I use .2 and it takes it back down to below 300 fps, travels much farther and straighter. Depending what spring pistol you get you may find that .2 works better overall.
