I have every intention of attending this event. Is this reading right and said skirmish will be at Txpb? We usually don't play at the same location two weeks in a row.

Not that I'm complaining...I want to check out the new site.

Calendar is correct. Adjustments were made to accomodate some people who could skirmish last week, but not this week.

Now I'm jealous since more are going to Txpaintball this coming weekend and I'm out of town. That's not fair...Seriously, Airsofters that's never been there will have a blast as we did last weekend. You guys enjoy it and maybe I'll make it...

Yup....there were many people that did not want to miss the superbowl so a compromise was made to play there 2 weeks in a row for those that didnt care about the superbowl and those that did :)

what's the plan if it is raining?

Reports say HEAVY rain, so I will post sometime saturday on the condition of the low water crossing.

what's the plan if it is raining? We typically play anyway, although a straight downpour/thunderstorm is cause to cancel. Knock on wood, as we haven't encountered that very often.

Well, looks like its gonna be a mud bowl if we can get into the site at all.

So I have a quick question for those who have played at the new TxPb site.

How close is the terrain? Will I be served well by a long gun such as my M16 or AK or should I bring out a "brush gun" like my M733 or G3SAS?

It is actually fairly tight, what with all the "granches" around. Good amount of vines and interlocking thin branches. You might want to consider your short gun, at least to check it out this time around. There is some open field areas also, but some areas are pretty thick.

Be ready for some mud fighting, boys.

Maybe we should get some girls up there...

EDIT: Looks like I wont be able to make this one...again.

Sorry I couldn't make it up this last weekend. Last minute planning forced me to make last minute decisions. I will definatley be able to play next weekend.. See you all then!
