Many of us have been tracking the new Multicam pattern coming out from Crye Precision (http://www.cryeprecision.com/multicam/index.htm) and there has been little information until Military Moron (http://www.militarymorons.com/) did a review of the new pattern. Crye release last month the fabric, not their completed CCU (Close Combat uniform). With the fabric being released to gear makers, there has been a spur in activity. I had EGGROLL at Geardo.com (http://www.geardo.com/index.htm) make me two custom pouches in the new pattern.

The top pouch is the FUGLY mk2 with additional Velcro added for my various patches I have collected. This is a great piece of kit. It was designed to fit the bib portion of a Wasatch or Weesatch, but will easily attach via MALICE clips to any modular vest with PALS. There are two compartments, one large and one not so large. The bottom piece of kit is custom made Triple-Triple pouch (inspired by the Paraclete TX-II) This pouch will hold three M16 Mags and three pistol mags. I really like the open-top design for quick reload situations.

Both of these will be attached to a new Weesatch that is on the way. All in all the build is incredible, very sturdy and well thought out.

Multicam- great pattern. Notice in the image how pattern works well with both my tropical and desert DPM. I will be writing a more comprehensive review of these once I get a few skirmishes in.

That pattern looks like it would be a great Texas summer, spring and fall pattern too.
