Hello,
I am trying to remove the gear box from the reciever of a TM M4A1 and to do this i need to remove the stock and cannot figure this out. Can anybody help?

See the "knob" on the bottom-side of the lever that you actuate to collapse or extend the stock? Pull that straight down and then the stock will slide off the end of the buffer tube. From there, you can access the long bolt inside the buffer tube that screws into the back of the mechbox.

Wolv, you left out a step. You need to remove a hex head screw that fastens a cap to the end of the buffer tube. Then you can remove the cap and get to the big screw inside the buffer tube that holds the stock on.
