A guy over on Airsoft Ohio (http://www.airsoftohio.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4994) created the following diagram which seems to explain what the cause of a '1-2-1-2' firing pattern could be in the gun. I thought it was helpful so thought I would go ahead and post it here :p.

(Original thread: http://www.airsoftohio.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4994 )

The picture says it all. Please pardon the poor quality. Anyway, For anyone with a firing pattern 1-2-1-2-1-2, this is more then likly the problem.

The problem was created via not resting the anti reversal latch properly on the stop, on the botton gear. If this is not done, then the nozzle will have three movements allways, instead of two. The movement will become.
-forward, backward, forward: 1st shot
-backward,forward,backward: 2nd shot

All props go to 'tz00X' of Airsoft Ohio (http://www.airsoftohio.com) for putting together the diagram :) .
